Create the Life You Crave

Do you feel stuck in a rut of negative thought patterns, feel like there are too many obstacles for you to achieve your goals or wonder why you continue with the same behaviors which lead to an unfulfilled life? Do you catch yourself saying “I don’t know how to stop” or “I don’t know my purpose” and feel like you are in the dark?

Are you ready to take control of your life, but don’t know where to start? A coach is the first step to unlocking the power you have within to create a new perspective and maximize your full potential to achieve desired results.

I work with individuals who are committed and sincere in their intention to grow and create a life of authenticity and abundance. Together we will identify negative core beliefs and destructive habits which hinder you from achieving desired success. I use a holistic approach to create proactive steps on how to make breakthroughs and gain insight in your life.

Growth means moving forward-and that means work. We will focus on your goals and develop an actionable plan to achieve them. You will learn how to get outside of your comfort zone and break down barriers you once resisted facing.

As we work together you will start to regain a sense of confidence, vision and momentum. New strengths will be uncovered and you will find clarity as to your purpose. You will begin to show up to the world as a new person, with new beliefs, new habits and new opportunities.

How Coaching is Different Than Therapy

Both coaching and traditional psychotherapy share the similarity that they work with clients to enable them to make positive changes and lead more productive lives. Some of their approaches may overlap, but the two also have distinct differences. One of the greatest differences is the ‘why’ and ‘what’ approach the therapist or coach takes. A therapist will ask why the person behaves the way they do and will help talk them through their answer. A coach will ask ‘what’ the client needs to do to achieve a desired outcome. One method may be a better fit depending on where you are in your life and your desired outcome.

In Recovery?

Why a Coach is Different Than a Sponsor

Many people in 12-Step programs wondered why they need a coach if they already have a sponsor.  “Isn’t this why I have a sponsor?”  The simple answer is ‘no’.  A 12-Step sponsors main objective is to be an example of a drug and/or alcohol free life and work you through The Steps.  A sponsor is not your relationship, business or health coach. Do you go to your sponsor for weight-lifting advice as if they were your fitness coach? Doubtful.

Recovery coaching is a supplemental process which can be combined with The 12-Steps and sponsorship.  A coach will build on your foundation and will help you achieve success in others areas of your life.  We will dig deeper into setting goals to help break any self-doubt you may still have as to a recovering addicts capabilities.  A coach will help find deeper meaning in recovery though discovering passions and how to implement action in other areas of your life — not just those related to sobriety.
